SEMI-MEMS & Sensors Industry Group

Challenge: We first began working with MEMS Industry Group in 2007 on a project to secure press for its annual Executive Congress. The wrinkle was that press were not covering MEMS as a beat at the time so explaining why MEMS was important was part of the difficulty.

Results: Through extensive direct outreach, we secured significant press attention for that and for all future Executive Congress events – building the brand identity of MEMS Industry Group, its executive director and its members through press coverage. Despite all the changes at MEMS Industry Group, including its acquisition by SEMI in 2017 and a name change to MEMS & Sensors Industry Group, we have continued to play an integral role at the organization. Because of our close partnership with our client, OEMs and ODMs as well as broader tech audiences and investors have read and heard about MEMS and sensors in outlets spanning Wired, Forbes and Marketwatch – in addition to the electronics industry trades with which we work regularly.
