Analog Devices
Challenge: We worked on numerous projects for Analog Devices between 2000-2004, but with SoundMAX, the company’s digital audio subsystem, we faced a particular challenge: promoting a sub-$2 audio codec that competed against $100 sound cards.
Results: We created and implemented a product reviews’ program, partnering with desktop board manufacturers, Intel and ASUS, as we showcased the SoundMAX chip. We also leveraged press tours in NY, Boston and the Bay Area to secure excellent reviews in PC Magazine, PC World, ExtremeTech, Tom’s Hardware and many others. SoundMAX became the leading audio codec, reviewing favorably against much more expensive audio hardware.
